Professor Andrew Blakers and Professor Ricardo Rüther (UFSC) have published an article in PV Magazine discussing the implications of a new World Nuclear Association report.

In 2024, solar was deployed 100 times faster than nuclear.

New wind was deployed 25 times faster than nuclear.

And electricity generation from coal and gas has likely peaked in 2025. Assuming current growth rates, there will be more combined solar and wind in 2032 than coal and gas.
